What is Montessori-style toy rotation?
Researchers have studied how children play when offered 4 versus 16 toys in a toy basket. Children who had only 4 toys available engaged more meaningfully and deeply with individual toys and even spent more time playing in total than children with 16 toys available.


The Montessori principle is therefore to give babies the opportunity to engage with only a few toys at a time and to swap the individual toys out regularly. This creates variety, which keeps the toys interesting for your baby for much longer.

👁Sense of sight: Objects with different colors, shapes, and brightness
